Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village.
Majuli is a lush green environment-friendly, pristine and pollution free fresh water island in the river Brahmaputra, just 20 km from the Jorhat city. With a total area of 1250 sq. km, Majuli is the world’s largest river island and it attracts tourists from all over the world. Among one of the most surreal places in India, Majuli is also a strong contender for a place in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Mostly inhabited by Tribals, the culture of Majuli is unique and quite interesting and is one of the key reasons why people love this place so much. It is also called the cultural capital of Assam. The festivals celebrated here are all joyous and vibrant. The main festival in the town of Majuli is called Raas and witnessing it is an interesting spectacle.”

Early in the morning starts the day with the blessings of Maa Kamakhya (Visit Maa Kamakhya Temple). After lunch drive to the Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site and also famous for One Horned Rhinoceros. Over Night stay at Hotel.
Early in the morning you will be taken to the riding point in the central range (Kohora) for an Elephant ride. After the ride return back to the hotel having breakfast and drive to the central range (Kohora) for the Jeep Safari. Afternoon checkout from hotel and proceed to Nimatighat to take the ferry to Majul (the biggest river island of the world), check in at hotel/resort, Overnight stay will be at Majuli.
After breakfast proceed to visit Assamese’s famous Garmur Sattra, The Auniati Satra which was established in Majuli in 1653 A.D, visit Kamalabari Satra. Visit Samaguri satra in majuli which is famous for Mask Culture. Return back to hotel and Overnight stay.
After breakfast visit visit the Mising tribal villages. watch different cultural shows and different cultural & traditional items. Evening go for a walk in the bank of the river Luit.
After breakfast proceed to Shillong – known as Scotland of the east is a popular hill station of north east India. En-route visit Umiam lake (Barapani lake) – largest man-made lake of the state Meghalaya. Upon arrival evening shopping at Police bazar for local and tribal souvenir.
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place in the world. At Cherrapunjee enjoy the numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai falls, Dainthelen Falls and Mawsmai cave. Evening drive back to Shillong, on the way back you can enjoy the spectacular view of Elephant Falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast visit the cleanest village in Asia. It is situated 30 kms. Besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness and can enjoying boating in the river Umngot river (Crystal clear water), Indo-Bangladesh border (Dawki). Evening we will return back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. Check in to hotel, after refreshment visit for half day Guwahati city Tour. Tour includes – Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra. Evening enjoy the River Cruise on river Brahmaputra.
Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to visit Peacock Island, the smallest island of the world which is situated in the midst of the River Brahmaputra. After visit Peacock Island transfer to Airport for final journey.
